Location
From the easternmost town in the United States, Lubec, Maine, an international bridge leads to Campobello Island, New Brunswick. To reach the island from the Canadian mainland, take the scenic car-ferry rides from St. George, New Brunswick, to neighbouring Deer Island, and from there to historic Welshpool, home of the Lupine Lodge. Nine miles long, home to three fishing villages, Campobello dominates the marine entrance to the beautiful Passamaquoddy Bay region. At the many coves, bays and harbours of Campobello and the region, you'll see fishermen at their trade taking lobster, herring and other species. Aquaculture sites also dot the blue waters.
